Message	said that a triple disc lock-up was not advised to be used in a drag race environment due to the centrifical force of of the fluid in the converter would tend to cause the clutch to apply when on the starting line. I don't know how much of that applies to the Jatco RE4RO3A though, as I was looking at converter for the GM 4L80E.
